In this role you will support the company logistics in a timely and organized manner as they launch their new 4th line!  Since starting with a single family-owned artesian spring in Canada, this local business has grown rapidly. Now hiring multiple roles on all 4 shifts total of 42 hours a week:
• Team A : Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday : 7am to 7pm and Thursday 7am to 1pm
• Team B : Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday : 7pm to 7am and Thursday 7pm to 1am
• Team C : Thursday 7am to 1pm, Friday, Sat, Sun 7am to 7pm
• Team D : Thursday 1am to 7am, Friday, Sat, Sun 7pm to 7am

Duties  / Responsibilities

  • Operates equipment in a manner consistent with company Health and Safety policies
  • Able to operate Walkie and/or Forklift experience as needed
  • Uses a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to receive, check, count inventory, verify, sort and classify materials and equipment by stock number, condition and other classifications and update in relevant logs
  • Wrapping loads with a shrink wrapper, loading goods onto and off a truck
  • Performs order picking which involves lifting and re-palletizing the products
  • Unpacks cartons and boxes to check the material and then again seal them
  • Compares data against the documents given by the management and note irregularities
  • Prepares product for shipment ensuring accuracy, efficiency and customer service standards are met
  • Provides quality service to the client by ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
  • Maintains equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion and handles fragile items with care
  • Maintains a clean and secure work area

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year Walkie Operation and/or Forklift Operation
  • Minimum 1-year Warehouse experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player
  • Reliable and available for selected shifts
  • Manufacturing related experience
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Career oriented with reliable attendance
