Job Purpose:

The job purpose of a Storefront Cashier/Team Member is to provide exceptional customer service by accurately processing customer orders, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized cashier station.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the cash register
  • Handle cash transactions, including giving change and issuing receipts
  • Maintain a clean and organized cashier station
  • Assist with stocking and replenishing inventory as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including food safety and hygiene guidelines
  •  Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  •  Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic math skills for calculating transactions and giving change
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively
  •  Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Prior experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred, but not required

Physical Demands: 

  • Standing for long periods at a time
