Better Jobs Ontario

The Better Jobs Ontario (BJO) program provides laid-off and unemployed individuals with access to skill training and financial support to secure employment for in-demand occupations. Better Jobs Ontario aims to help you rejoin the workforce quickly and focuses on training programs that take 52 weeks or less to complete, including micro-credential programs. BJO provides individuals without the financial resources to access skills training. Financial assistance can cover the cost of tuition, books, instructional costs, transportation and provide a basic living allowance, up to a maximum amount. Additional funding may be available for transportation, basic living allowance, childcare, etc.
